Rolling Streams of Love -(a poem)

The streams still roll down my face.

The warmth of the drops that splash down to my lap.

Is it sadness or is it strength?

Is it happiness, knowing that a love like ours is real?

That our Love stands the test of time?

Or is it illusions and false imagination?

I can not seem to un-Love you.

I can not seem to find comfort in another’s arms.

I can not seem to run into another’s chest.

The only one I run to is you. You who brought me to this significant point in life.

The God that showed me true love. The God that filled me whole and picked me up by the Spirit.

So stand near me, be my man.

Be my teacher, be my savior, be my reason to life.

Never let my heart go for the world can hold no amount of precious gold.

Allow me to see through your eyes, your mind, your body.
