With Technology taking over our lives, we have had many things on the rise. Mental health, depression, anxiety, and other disorders that have to do with the human body.

The addiction in the numbers is a new drug.

As we scan through profiles trying to see how many likes the picture or video got, how many comments, how many followers, how many xyz…. We have slowly programmed ourselves to put value in a number.

This is not new, the subtly conditioning. In our lack of awareness we have done it even before social media.

For example, with how much money I have in my account.

We have shamed people who have less than us and we have felt sorrow in our own lack as we look to someone that seems to have more than us.

Well, I am here to say, that this conditioning that we have done to ourselves, (Yes, you, un-consciously allowed this programming to seep into your mind. ) is something you can change in any moment.

How?

well its knowing that your value is not in your number, your value is inside you. No one can tell you what your worth. Another amazing thing we always forget is that, we were created perfect. We were created with worth inside of us before we even knew how to talk.

So remember that: My value is not in a number, my value is inside me. Sing it out loud, Mantra this through out the day. Understand what this truly means to you.

Once you realize this, you no longer have to prove your worth to anyone. You no longer have to work yourself dead to feel value.

You are value. Once you know this and have this understanding aligned with your soul, You get to attract that of value right to you. Like attracts like.

Look I am not saying we must all burn social media. What I am saying is to start deprogramming the false belief that if you have one like, one follower, or one view, that you are not of value to this world.

You are…. So don’t put value in the number when you put something out there, do it because it makes your heart smile regardless of other peoples opinion.
